Grammar focus: what-cleft
What is a cleft sentence?
A cleft sentence is a structure used to emphasize a particular part of a sentence by splitting it into two clauses.
The word "cleft" means "split", it means dividing one sentence into two to highlight a specific piece of information.

Structure:
What + subject + verb + be + emphasized information
This type starts with "What" and emphasizes actions or ideas.

Examples:
– She enjoys yoga most. What she enjoys most is yoga.
– He needs a vacation. What he needs is a vacation.
Rewrite each sentence using a what-cleft structure to emphasize the action or idea
